Julian, Russian by nationality, was born in the former Soviet Union. In the early childhood started to do gymnastics. But from 10 years very seriously was fond of track and field athletics and devoted to this sport all his youth. Was the repeated participant and the winner of youthful competitions on different sight of track and field athletics generally in run on short and average distances of 800-1500 meter. Once tried the forces and in marathon race. But the injury of a knee with the surgery following didn't allowed to continue to be improved further in running and other types of track and field athletics. In parallel with comprehensive school Julian did study in music school on a piano class.
After nearly 8 years of the life given to track and field athletics, Julian decided to try the forces in other sport - rowing at boat (academic style) where for quite short interval of time in incomplete 3 years overcome a difficult way from the simple beginner to become the Master of Sports of the Soviet Union (USSR). Was the participant and the prize-winner of the international regattas and has been drafted as the nominee into national junior team.
In the early nineties Julian has founded to Bodybuilding by an example of the older brother which already was get involved and quite successfully acted in competitions of local scale. 10 years of training later in the gym he decided to begin the international competitive career which proceeds and to this day.
Up to date in 25+ years of competitive career in body building Julian - professional athlete - was the finalist of 15 World Cups and collected a collection from many awards won and brought from nearly (Austria, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Slovenia, Lithuania, Mexico, India, Russia, Republic of Ireland, Finland, Norway, Czech Republic, Luxembourg, Hungary, Portugal ) 20 countries of the World. In some countries were competed 5-10 times.
Julian is a vegetarian. He was invited and visited India for carrying out a master classes. Most recently he has provided a master class in Italy. Except the won titles of the absolute winner of the national championships of two European countries Julian Grishajev is the holder of a prestigious in bodybuilding title of Mr. Universe. Currently he lives and trains in the Dallas area in the USA.
Julian Grishajev's sporting experience for more than 35 years allow him to be available to guest appearance or other related workshops in most of countries worlwide (at least one month notice needed).
